Installation Instructions THUMB SAVER With a knife or sharp instrument, remove plastic from around thumb throttle. Slip Thumb Saver over thumb throttle leaving a 1/4" clearance from throttle body as indicated in illustration. With a 1/8" allen wrench, snugly tighten the set screws. When tightening the set screws in your Thumb Saver, tighten the middle one first then the ones on either side. DO NOT over tighten. The screws only need to be snug. Over torquing may result in cracking of the Thumb Saver. Adjust to your comfort. To insure safety, cut off the lower lip of the rubber handle grip as shown in illustration.
